The mission of Professional Golfers Career College is to "Educate the Future Leaders in the World of Golf." This mission is accomplished by providing our students with the most up-to-date curriculum in business and golf-related education. Our program objectives are as follows:
- Because our college focuses on students who wish to attain leadership positions in a variety of golf-related organizations, students can expect a broad-based education that covers the many different aspects of professional golf management. The curriculum is designed to include the business aspects of golf management as well as the teaching and playing of professional golf. The ethical values found in the game of golf are also included in many of our classes, such as Leadership, Attitude & Motivation, and Rules of Golf.
- One of the primary goals of our college is to exceed the expectations of our students. We do this by having an up-to-date curriculum, a caring and professional faculty, and an outstanding reputation in the golf business.
- Our curriculum is designed to cover general education subjects and also specific professional golf management topics. These include classes such as Golf Operations, and Marketing. Students are also taught Public Relations Skills, Golf Teaching Skills, Country Club Management, and Golf Club Design. Each class is designed to measure the student’s progress through exams. These exams may be written, oral, or even skill demonstrations in some of our golf classes.
- Professional Golfers Career College was founded to provide a broad-based education for skilled golfers who need a professional golf management program before entering the marketplace. The uniqueness of the college is that it combines the skills of golf with a business curriculum. Our graduates are not only golf professionals and general managers of country clubs, but also businessmen with golf-related manufacturing companies. Employers have found our graduates to have the skills necessary to be successful in the very competitive business of golf.

The Professional Golfers Career College (PGCC) is more than a golf academy and more than a golf school, it is golf education in the fullest sense of the term. Certainly, the PGCC program includes golf training, golf instruction, golf lessons, golf teaching, golf classes and all the components that, ideally, you would expect to find in a golf college that offers a broad-based program. However, even a cursory review of the PGCC program will reveal an academically expansive curriculum leading to the awarding of a specialized golf degree as an entry credential into the golf business as a true golf professional prepared for a wide variety of golf careers.
