After graduation, I worked at a high end daily fee course, a beautiful resort course, and a very exclusive private club. I am now involved in Sales and Marketing Management for Southwest Greens, and I get to meet and rub elbows with the greatest golfers in the world! This business of golf is big and getting bigger. One of the greatest things about PGCC was the personal interest the Directors took in my goals. By the end of my freshman semester, I knew that I wanted to work in tournament administration, and Kent Brown and Dr. Somerville arranged an internship with the World Match Play Championship at La Costa while I was still at PGCC. That job opened the door for me to meet the people who hired me for my current position with the PGA Tour. Overall, it was a great experience for me -- the education, the networking, and the friends I met along the way, made it an experience I will treasure all my life.

It would have been difficult for me to break into the golf industry without attending PGCC. I recently accepted a manager's position at my home course in Canada. The curriculum at PGCC more than prepared me for this new challenge.
